The Patrick Henry Academy Library is dedicated to promoting and instilling academic excellence and enriching the intellectual pursuits of its students. It is a library which offers a quiet and comfortable area for reading and research for our entire Patrick Henry Academy community. The Patrick Henry Academy library collection totals more than 10,000 volumes, and includes fiction, nonfiction, and reference books, periodicals, newspapers, copy machine, and a video collection. Our library collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and administrator in order to support and complement our school’s curriculum.

- Over 10,000 books and Videos
- 30 popular magazines for student browsing and research
- “The State” daily newspaper
- “The Hampton County Guardian” weekly newspaper
- 4 sets of encyclopedias (World Book, Compton’s, Americana, and Britannica)
- Several atlases, to include: World Book, Concise, Hammond, & Nat’l Geographic
- 16 volume set of Encyclopedia of World Biography
- Student copy machine available with a 10 cent fee for each page
- Accelerated Reader Program available for K-5 through 8th grade students
- School wide Book Club available for birthdays, memorials, and honorary accomplishments
- PHA Library Bulletin printed in August each year announcing library rules and policies, activity class schedules, and dates to remember
- A full-time librarian who is always willing to help and answer questions

PHA Birthday/Honorary Book Club: May apply for membership year-round. Applications available in library.
Last day for Students to take an AR quiz and collect their prizes: May 5, 2010
Last day to check-out books: May 12, 2011
All library books must be returned no later than May 13, 2011
